The City Manager provides direction and leadership for the successful administration and operations of all municipal services for the City of Glenarden.  As directed by the Mayor and City Council, the City Manager serves as the focal point for the management of the City's departments.  The City Manager supervises all staff and is responsible for the effective management of all financial and administrative actions of the City.

 

The City Manager's Office also prepares and submits to the Mayor and City Council, a balanced plan of municipal services in adherence with the policy, goals, and objectives established by the Administration.  The Manager keeps the Mayor and City Council informed through a variety of reporting procedures that assist the Council in its policy making role.
