City of Glenarden Council Meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Mondays, and 2nd Tuesday of each month. When a holiday is observed on a Monday during a meeting week, the Council meeting is usually held on a Tuesday. The agendas, associated materials, minutes, and videos are available in the Archive Council Meetings Portal. Future Advisory Board and Committee meetings are also posted to the portal.

COUNCIL MEETING SCHEDULE

  • Work Sessions are held the 1st Monday of each month at 7:00pm.
  • Public Hearings are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm.
  • Regular Meetings are held the 3rd Monday of each month at 7:30pm. 


SPECIAL NOTICE - COUNCIL MEETINGS HAVE RESUMED TO IN-PERSON

The City of Glenarden Council is committed to holding meetings that are open to citizen participation. As of September 2022, the City of Glenarden Council will hold its Public Hearings and Regular Meetings in-person ( in the lowel level of City Hall - Council Chambers). Work Sessions will remain virtual. City meetings will be re-broadcasted for the public on cable television channel 71 (Comcast), channel 16 (Verizon), social media channels and available via on demand here as well as our YouTube page at City of Glenarden, MD. 

Zoom information for City Council meetings, Committee meetings and Advisory Board Committee meetings are posted along with the calendar entry on the CITY CALENDAR available on the homepage.

The virtual Council meetings are conducted entirely remotely and there is no in-person attendance.

Council meetings can be viewed on replay on cable channels 16 (Verizon) and 71 (Comcast), social media channels, and on demand in the Archive Council Meetings Portal. Meetings are rebroadcast on cable at 12:30AM, 11:00PM and 7:30PM.
